The blog

Digitalists are:

“Those who are comfortable using a range of digital media and are open to the changes that digitisation brings to society.”
The Ed Techie

By this definition I am a digitalist. Are you?

The main focus of this blog is the ups and downs of life as a librarian in the digital age.

The author

I graduated in 2006 from Northumbria University’s Masters in Information and Library Management programme. I left the north east (somewhat reluctantly) to pursue my career as a librarian where the majority of jobs seemed to be, in the south.

After brief periods as bibliographic and information assistants I am now a Senior Information Librarian at a business school within a large UK university.
